Architecture photography of the Cathedral Notre-Dame of Reims in Reims, France
I took this picture in 2021 on my trip to Reims. It was already my 3rd time visiting the city and this cathedral but it was as aspiring as the first time. Notre-Dame of Reims is one of the oldest cathedrals in France as well as the most important ones - as it is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture. The cathedral measures 149 meters in length and 87 meters in height (bell tower included) and was the place where French kings were traditionally crowned.
It's my favorite one.

Another breathtaking gothic cathedral, an example of rayonnant Gothic architecture. Built in 1015, but later destroyed by a fire, the building was not completed until 1439. Today the cathedral is at 120 meters of height and hosts amazing stained glass windows and a one of a king astronomical clock. Taking a photograph of this cathedral was rather complicated, mainly by the close location of nearby buildings and tourists.
St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican
Many famous architects and artists contributed to the majesty of the St Peter's Basilica and the place is an absolute must for visit. Designed principally by Donato Bramante, Michelangelo, and Carlo Maderno, with impressive piazza designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, St. Peter's is the largest church in the world by interior measure and probably the most vibrant example of the beauty of Renaissance art.
Louvre in Paris, France
I visited the most visited museum in the world back in 2020 for the second time and this time I had perfect weather - cloudy with indirect sunlight. The buildings of the museum are fascinating and the classic beauty of the architecture is simply beautiful. An ensemble of changing architectural styles - from renaissance to neoclassic and even some baroque elements, thanks to the great masters architects, the buildings exist in a perfect symbiosis. Truly a view to admire.
